The RACE fire-resistant head sock from Alpinestars is constructed of a soft, stretchable knit blend of fire-retardant synthetic aramid fibers and Lenzing FR®, a permanently flame-retardant natural fiber that insulates against extreme heat while allowing your skin to breathe.

This v3 generation is a single layer for light weight and comfort. One large eye opening allows unrestricted vision, and a small mouth hole lets you get at your drinking tube. Flat-sewn seams reduce pressure ponts. The front bib is extra-long to tuck into your driver's suit, but the sides are contoured to fit over the shoulders without bunching. FIA 8856-2018 homologated and SFI 3.3 approved. Choose dark Anthracite grey with white Alpinestars logos (shown), or light heather Gray with black logos.
