Fire-resistant undergarments provide a dramatic increase in protection when worn with a driver's suit. Flame retardant underwear and socks are required by many race sanctioning bodies. The ZX EVO series long underwear top from Alpinestars is made of a very comfortable single layer soft knit blend of fire-retardant synthetic aramid fibers and Lenzing FR®, a permanently flame-resistant natural fiber that insulates against extreme heat while allowing your skin to breathe. This is not the rough "waffle weave" fabric! The ZX EVO v2 series features more Lenzing in the blend for even greater comfort than the Alpinestars Race series.

This long-sleeve top features a low mock turtleneck collar and an extended back for comfort while seated. The tubular-knit torso has no side seams, eliminating pressure points. A distinctive "jacquard" (ask your wife) pattern, as seen on Williams F1 drivers, enhances the racy look. Choose White with light grey pattern, Black with dark grey, or white with Blue highlights. Each color has a contrasting "A-star" logo on the collar and tone-on-tone A-stars logos on top of each shoulder. FIA 8856-2018 homologated and SFI 3.3 approved.
