Fire-resistant undergarments provide a dramatic increase in protection when worn with a driver's suit. Flame resistant underwear and socks are required by many race sanctioning bodies.

The ultra-light OMP ONE long underwear bottoms are made of a very smooth and stretchy single layer soft knit blend of flame-retardant aramid fibers. This is not the rough "waffle weave" fabric. Special "3D" knit areas in the crotch and from the knees down the front of the shins allow perspiration to evaporate without sacrificing protection. Per FIA requirements, there is no front fly opening to sacrifice safety. FIA 8856-2018 homologated.

Note: These bottoms have a very slim, athletic cut with increased elasticity to avoid bunching and bagginess. They are designed to fit like a second skin, so they may feel a little tight.
