12 Compound was developed as a long-wearing endurance racing compound. This compound won overall on its debut at the 2013 Daytona 24 Hours. It was designed to have excellent bite, modulation, and release characteristics. Virtually zero taper wear in properly designed racing calipers, with superior disc conditioning. Wear is optimized when disc temperature paints show 450-500° C (750-925° F), but it will still operate well at higher temperatures if required. With 24 hour durability in its DNA, it is the ultimate in wear.
11 Compound improves on both the bite and the release of the popular 01 compound. The very high, very flat torque curve allows easy pedal modulation with a fast, smooth release. Torque rises very little with temperature, which makes these pads very predictable. Easy on rotors and long-wearing. The 11 compound has even less tendency to lock at the end of a stop. Its controlability makes it ideal in tricky low-grip situations (low downforce, hard spec tires, greasy track surface). All-purpose pad for a variety of racing applications.
97 Compound has a very flat torque curve with less overall torque than the 01 Compound. The 97 Compound was formulated with excellent modulation and release as the primary objectives. Extremely easy on discs and very long wearing. Lowest friction of any PFC compound. Recommended for applications where wear and modulation are more important than ultimate torque. A particularly good rear pad.
