Fire-retardant undergarments provide a dramatic increase in protection when worn with a driver's suit. Flame resistant underwear and socks are required by many race sanctioning bodies.

The Sabelt UI-600 Slim Fit long underwear bottom is made of a very stretchy single layer blend of Nomex® and Lenzing FR (a plant-based, moisture-wicking, inherently fire-resistant fiber). This is not the old rough "waffle weave" fabric! An innovative knitting process minimizes seams, and the few remaining seams are flat-sewn to minimize pressure points. The athletic cut makes full use of the two-way stretch, fitting you like a second skin to avoid bunching. Bottoms feature a very narrow elastic waist and no front fly opening to compromise safety. Choose White (off-white heather) or Black. FIA 8856-2018 approved.
