The K-Way jacket from Sabelt is a lightweight, packable rain coat that is perfect for sudden summer downpours.
Although it has a non-detachable hood, the K-Way has no lining in order to keep the weight and bulk to a minimum. The only decoration is a small black-on-yellow Sabelt logo on the right chest, a smaller K-Way logo on the left, and a narrow set of white, yellow, and orange stripes flanking the zipper. Elastic cuffs and elastic drawstrings at the hem and around the hood keep driving rain out, while a vented back helps to let body heat escape.
During dry weather, the jacket can be packed into one of the two zippered hand warmer pockets. A buckled elastic band lets you wear the packed jacket around your waist when rain chances start to rise.
This jacket is cut for a European fit, so those of us with an American build will find that it runs a bit small. The Euro zipper is also reversed compared to American mens' jackets, with the pull on the left side. Navy blue with orange, yellow, and white trim. Medium size measures approximately 6 inches by 8 inches by 4 inches thick when packed. When unpacked, the waist strap is sewn into the right pocket.
