This high-flowing cone air filter has a 4 7/8" diameter opening which can be easily deformed into an oval or rounded rectangle to fit a variety of air inlet scoops. The small end has a drain opening to allow small debris and water to escape. Many installations also use the drain opening as a mounting support.

The screen-reinforced polyester gauze filtering media uses a special conditioning oil to catch and trap dirt particles. Properly treated, the thick media allows a much more open gauze for better airflow without sacrificing filtration. The filter is designed to be cleaned and re-oiled when it gets dirty.

Fits the standard intake scoop on Elan DP08 and DP02 (replaces Elan EPM-0003), Ralt FA / Super Vee, and Zetec-engined Van Diemen F2000 cars (does not fit the cowl intake on Pinto-engined Van Diemen FC).
