This 20-Cell 16 volt VTX-size battery is the same size as the popular YTX (12 volt) motorcycle battery (6" L x 3 7/16" W x 5 1/8" H), but it offers a huge 500 cranking amps and weighs just 5.3 pounds.
This size is designed for use in drag racing vehicles running 16 volt electrical systems (17.9 volt maximum charging rate). Female M6 terminals offer excellent durability. The positive terminal is located on the right side. Requires a 16-volt charger for lithium-ion batteries such as our Antigravity 12 / 16 Volt LiFePO4 Battery Charger (Part No. 1178-435), sold separately.
Note: Lead-acid batteries deliver a low-amperage current over a long period of time (for example, a 12Ah lead-acid battery can theoretically deliver 12 Amps for an hour). LiFePO4 batteries deliver a brief high-amperage current and then recover quickly (as in starting an engine). This battery is not designed to deliver a sustained current, and it should never be used in a total-loss electrical system except in very short bursts such as drag racing. Never use a trickle charger or standard lead-acid battery charger on a LiFePO4 battery.
