The standard receptacle for Camloc 2600 and 2700 series 1/4-turn fasteners gets riveted to the stationary structure. Installation of that receptacle type requires two additional holes in the structure, which is not always practical. This special 99-Series "Type 4" threaded receptacle requires only one hole, making it ideal for mounting in thick materials.
The outside of the barrel is threaded (15/32-32 UNS). It can be installed in a tapped hole in a thick or buried hole, or a retaining nut can be installed from the backside of the part. Our 15/32-32 Threaded Hex Nut (Part No. 4438, sold separately) is ideal for this purpose.
Receptacle measures 5/8" long overall (requires 9/16" hole depth or clearance behind panel). The top flange is 5/8" OD and requires a 100° countersink. Material is plated cast zinc. Maximum temperature 300°F/150°C. Sold individually.
Note: "Type 4" receptacle. Requires studs one dash number longer than shown in our table. (For example, if our table indicates a -3 stud for your assembly, you will need to use a -4.)
