This compact 1.9" x 1.4" x .6" 2-pole connector accepts up to 6 gauge cable (now in stock: Black 6 Gauge Battery Cable and Red 6 Gauge Battery Cable). Connector halves are sold individually and have no "male" or "female" -- flip one over and it will mate to another, with no danger of reversed polarity.
To assemble, crimp or solder the furnished contacts to your battery cable and then snap the contacts into the connector housing. Cable up to 6 gauge will slip right in; larger cable (such as our 4 gauge cable) can also be used by trimming off a few outer strands. Our 50 Amp Battery Connector T-Handle (Part No. 4145-005, sold separately) allows easy disconnection without danger of tugging on the cables. These connectors are grey.
We also offer the larger 175 Amp Battery Connector (Part No. 4148), which can be used with 1/0 gauge cable.
Warning! Never allow Brake Cleaner, Carburetor Cleaner or other strong solvents to come in contact with these connectors. The plastic housings will be severely damaged by these chemicals!
