The Lucas "High Energy" coil is perfect for most 4 and 6 cylinder applications. This high-output, 12 volt coil offers very good high RPM performance. This particular model has 3 Ohms internal resistance, so a ballast resistor is not required.

Many hard-to-track-down ignition problems are eventually traced to a defective coil, so it's a good idea to carry a spare.
