Don't know if you have a Bosch or Autolite distributor?
The Bosch distributor cap measures 2.87 inches in diameter not including the hold-down tab protrusions.
The Autolite distributor cap measures 3.35 inches in diameter not including the hold-down tab protrusions.
Pertronix and Mallory distributors will have a name plate with the manufacturer logo.
Note: Bosch has discontinued production of the beloved "Blue" ignition coil. We recommend the epoxy-filled Pertronix Flame-Thrower (Standard) as a high-performance replacement.
