The Pertronix system mounts entirely inside the distributor, replacing the points and condenser. The Ignitor is a simple, bolt-on conversion that can be done in less time than it takes to install and adjust a new set of points and a condensor -- and it can be quickly converted back to points at the track. Fits Ford 1600 Kent engine with counter-clockwise rotation Autolite distributor. Legal for SCCA Formula Ford. 12 volt, negative ground only.
New Lobe-Sensing design eliminates the magnetic trigger sleeve. The module is now triggered directly by the breaker point lobes on the distributor shaft.
