Ford "Modular" V8 engines feature cross-bolted main caps for improved bottom-end rigidity. ARP Pro Series side bolts are manufactured from 8740 chrome moly steel, heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength with J-form threads that are rolled (not cut) after heat treatment (not before) for unmatched strength and precision.

This kit includes ten M9 bolts with 12-point heads and special washers to fit later cast iron 4.6L and 5.4L blocks. Note that early blocks used M8 bolts.

This kit does not fit the Ford Racing Boss 5.0L Modular block.
