High-performance ARP Pro Series Rod Bolts are constructed of super-strong ARP2000 alloy, heat-treated to 220,000 psi tensile strength (stronger than 8740 chrome moly steel). Pro Series rod bolts offer greater reliability than any OEM rod bolt, and superior clamping strength than most high-quality racing rod bolts. A special shank design helps to center the cap to the rod without affecting bolt stretch.
This kit includes a full set of twelve cap screw-style rod bolts (enough for a complete engine) and a packet of ARP assembly lubricant. Fits the following VW/Audi V6 engines:
2.7L 30v Biturbo (engine codes APB, BEL) 2000-05 Audi B5 S4 Biturbo
2.8L 12v non-turbo V6 (engine code AFC) 1994-95 Audi 80/90, 96-97 Audi A4/A6
2.8L 24v non-turbo V6 (engine codes AHA, ATQ) 1997-2005 VW Passat
2.8L 30v non-turbo V6 (engine code ACK) 1996-98 Audi B5 A4 / 96-98 Audi A6 / D2 A8, 98-05 VW Passat; engine codes ACK.
Not for VR6 engines.
