Loctite® Threadlocker 290™ (green) is a high strength, low viscosity compound that can be used to lock previously assembled fasteners such as when locking down an adjustment. It can also be used to seal minor porosity in castings and welds since it will wick into the voids. You can even use it on fasteners which might have had Loctite blue Threadlocker applied before assembly. If you're not sure, give it a drop of 290! Temperature limits -65°F to 300°F (-54°C to 150°C). 6 ml bottle.

For best results, pre-treat the threads with Loctite 7649 Primer N Surface Activator (Part No. LT-37509, sold separately). This treatment allows the threadlocker to adhere to "inactive" materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, magnesium, titanium, black oxide, zinc plating, and cadmium plating -- which is just about everything racecars are made of!

Note: This small 6 ml tube replaces the larger 10 ml bottle (LT-29021).
