HD Roll Bar Padding from Longacre is designed to lessen impact forces transmitted to the head. It is similar to SFI-rated padding, but without the SFI endorsement. This padding is specifically recommended for use in areas where the helmet may contact the tubing.*
The low-profile "C" shape covers just one side of a tube between 1 1/2" and 1 3/4" diameter. The inside surface is lined with a peel-and-stick adhesive. We recommend backing up this adhesive with a few zip ties. Approximately 3/4 inch thick in the center, tapering to almost paper-thin at the edges. 36 inch section in Black. Sold individually.
* Note: This padding is extremely stiff and rigid. It does not give except in very hard impacts. It is designed specifically for installation between the helmet and the roll bar. It is intended to cover only one side of the bar (the side between the bar and your helmet).
All other areas of the roll cage should be padded using softer High-Density Roll Bar Padding, Part No. 2390.
