CarbonX Material, Black, 8 oz Knit, 60 Inch Wide, per Foot

Flame-retardant CarbonX fabric won't char, shrink, or burn when exposed to heat and direct flame. Instead, CarbonX fibers carbonize and expand, dramatically reducing the oxygen content within the fabric. This gives it fire-resistant properties and protective performance far superior to many other fire retardant fabrics. CarbonX is inherently flame resistant, which means that the fire retardance will never wash out.

This double jersey knit CarbonX material has a matte (non-shiny) finish. Its flexibility and stretch make it perfect for covering custom seat inserts such as our Creafoam Bead Seat Kits. It can also be used for repairs to knit driver's gear such as gloves. The patented CarbonX Ultimate DJ-77 blend is soft and comfortable against the skin, with excellent moisture wicking and breathability. Fabric is 60" wide and is sold by the running foot. Black only.

Adhere this material to your seat insert with our High Temperature Spray-On Adhesive (Part No. 1835-020, sold separately).
