Why sit or lay on cold, hard ground to work on your car? For that matter, why kneel on the ground without any protection? This heavy-duty mat from B-G Racing can fold and unfold into a variety of configurations to keep you comfortable!
The mat is constructed of 3 layers of heavy, semi-rigid foam (similar to roll bar padding). The yellow inner layer is cut into 6 segments, each measuring 16 9/16" wide x 7 11/16" long. The black outer layers are cut in alternating 2-segment-long pieces, resulting an a 47 5/8" long mat that can fold like an accordion.
Fold the mat completely to make a 7" high stool.
Unfold just the middle fold to make a super-thick (3 9/16"), 16 9/16" deep x 15 3/8" wide kneeling pad.
Unfold the mat completely for a flat (1 3/16" thick) ground pad.
Flip one segment over to make a 40" long "creeper" with a headrest!
Folded for storage, the mat measures just 16 9/16" x 7 1/16" x 7 9/16". A hook-and-loop strap keeps it from unfolding and makes it easy to carry. A handle cutout in one end lets you move it easily. Weighs 1.5 lb.
