This connector and pin kit is offered for advanced AiM Strada users who want to build their own wiring harness, or for users who need to repair a damaged harness.
The 14-pin AMP connector is used on MXS Strada, MXS 1.2 Strada, MXP Strada, and MXG 1.2 Strada street dash displays. Basic and critical functions such as Power/Ground, ECU connections, and CAN expansion use this port. If you do not plan to connect any CAN expansions, using this connector kit may be more economical than the entire harness.
On the other hand, if you do want to connect a CAN expansion to your Strada dash, the AiM Strada CAN/RS232 ECU Harness (Part No. MC-364) or the AiM Strada OBD-II ECU Harness (Part No. MC-365) each include a pre-terminated pigtail that will allow you to plug in any AiM CAN expansion.
