This lightweight aluminum bracket is made by Varley to fit the Varley Red Top 25 Battery (Part No. 1177-003, sold separately) but will accept any battery measuring 7.17" x 3.04" x 6.62", including our own 18 AH Sealed Racing Battery (Part No. 1170)*.
This bracket has a small retaining lip at the front edge of the top. A bottom panel extends about halfway from the front panel to the back of the battery. If the bracket is to be installed vertically, we recommend adding some method of support under the battery to reinforce the bottom panel. Includes a foam isolating pad to protect the battery from vibration.
* You may need to modify the bracket slightly for a better fit on our 1170 battery.
