This versatile controller unit from Davies Craig can run one or two electric fans, or even a fan and an electric water pump! The temperature probe gets installed in the radiator fins, so there is no need to cut or disconnect any hoses.
An LED readout in the 52mm (2 1/16") gauge displays the set temperature or the actual temperature measured by the sensor probe in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. The controller can be set to turn the fan on anywhere between 5° C and 110° C (41° F to 230° F). The target temperature for the second fan (if installed) can be set independently. Either fan (or both) can also be triggered by the air conditioning compressor clutch. You can also turn either fan off manually at any time. A visual and audio alarm are triggered if the coolant temperature exceeds the target temperature by 10°C (18°F).
The controller is tailored for use with Davies Craig Electric Fans (sold separately), but it can run fans of any brand. It can even be used with an electric coolant pump, although it will only turn the pump on and off (it will not vary pump speed).
Controller kit includes the controller/gauge, pedestal and dash mounts, two 40 amp 12 volt relays, compact temperature sensing probe, radiator fin mount hardware for the probe, wiring harness, wiring connectors, and instructions. Fan(s) / pump sold separately.
