This direct-acting throwout bearing from Tilton eliminates all lost motion due to cable stretch or linkage flex. The compact size and unique threaded base makes it easy to be adapt to almost any transmission. The threaded base tube lets you adjust the height from 1.77" to 3.0". The ID of the base tube is undersized (1.0") so you can machine it to match your pilot tube OD.
The bearing has a 38mm contact diameter for clutches with a 1 3/8" diameter diaphragm spring hole. This includes Tilton OT-III (5.5") and OT-IV (4.5") racing clutches and some AP carbon-carbon clutches (CP6913/CP6914, CP7543).
Maximum travel is 0.70 inches, so a clutch pedal stop must be used to prevent damage to the clutch and the engine. Tilton recommends pairing this assembly with a 3/4" bore master cylinder (sold separately).
