Tilton 6000-Series Hydraulic Release Bearings

The 6000-Series hydraulic release bearings from Tilton have a unique threaded base that lets you easily adjust the height by as much as 1.25" to suit just about any clutch setup. Most kits include an adapter base to fit OEM pilot tubes or input shaft bearing retainers. Interchangeable pistons and bearings allows use with nearly any racing clutch.

Always use a clutch pedal stop with an HRB! Overtravel of the pedal causes a huge spike in line pressure. This can be strong enough to destroy clutch fingers. Even worse, it can push the crankshaft forward and grind up the thrust bearings. This can quickly lead to a loss of oil pressure and a loss of an engine.

Bearing sizes:
Flat Face (43.4mm - 71.9mm) works with most 8 1/2" to 10 1/2" stock and high-performance street clutches.
38mm is for Tilton OT-III (5.5") and OT-IV (4.5") racing clutches, as well as some AP carbon-carbon clutches.
44mm is for Tilton OT-II (7.25") and most Quartermaster 4.5", 5.5", and 7.25" racing clutches.
52mm is for Tilton 8.5" and most AP 4.5", 5.5", and 7.25" racing clutches.

Using a larger-diameter bearing than recommended will increase pedal effort.
