Tilton OT-2 Triple Disc Set, 7.25", 7/8 x 28 Spline

This is a set of 3 sintered metallic discs for the Tilton OT-II 3-Disc 7 1/4" Racing Clutch. The 7/8" x 28 spline size (also sometimes called out as 28 x 22mm) has been used on later VW models such as some Corrado, New Beetle, and B3/B4 Passat (note that Tilton considers this a non-standard spline size and may not keep this size in stock).

Stacked "ACC" hubs offer greater flywheel clearance than back-to-back "ABA" hubs, at the expense of a little spline thickness. The A hub (throwout bearing side) is 0.375" thick at the splines, and the "C" hubs (middle and flywheel side) are each 0.25" thick at the splines.

Tilton recommends replacement when the clutch disc friction material wears to 0.094". New discs measure 0.104" thick.

Note: Not for street use. These discs are not designed to work with any OEM clutch.
