The latest all-in-one controller from Davies Craig is capable of managing any combination of two electric coolant pumps or electric fans, or one of each!
The controller includes an LED display that shows system status (including temperature set point, pump and fan on/off, and warnings) and doubles as a coolant temperature gauge. Single-button programming makes it quick and easy to change the target temperature at any time. You can set the target temperature in 1°C increments from 5°C* to 110°C (41°F to 230°F).
Pumps or fans can be set to four distinct running modes: Ramp, Hi/Lo, Run, and Pump. Start speed, start temp, and temp difference can all be set to suit your application. After the engine is shut off, the controller will continue to run the pump for up to 5 minutes or until the temp drops to a specified level to avoid heat soak. Optional manual overrides provide additional flexibility for situations like AC, water crossings, or even working on the vehicle.
Complete kit includes controller unit with wiring harness and two sensor options (you will use one or the other): a slimline probe that can be installed between the fins of your radiator, and a sender with 1/4 NPT male threads for installation in your engine. Operates on either 12 or 24 VDC.
Note: This controller is suitable for use with electric fans and water pumps with brushed motors only (up to 40 Amp draw on each circuit). It is not recommended for units with brushless motors.
