Brand: Tilton Engineering

The Tilton OT-II Single Disc Clutch is a very high-quality open style 7 1/4" diameter clutch. The aluminum cover is much lighter and stiffer than the stamped steel cover used on many racing clutches. The 7 1/4" diameter gives longer disc life than a 5.5" clutch at the expense of a little rotating inertia. This assembly includes the cover and pressure plate. Clutch disc and bolts are sold separately. Requires specially modified flywheel.

The Gray spring is a high-strength spring, recommended for cars producing up to 340 lb-ft of torque.

Racing clutches require high pedal force to actuate. External slave cylinder release mechanisms will not work with this clutch. The Gray spring should only be used on cars with a Hydraulic Release Bearing (such as our part #163-55).

The Tilton clutch is holding up great with the power my Super Vee Puts out. Easy enough to modulate from a stop and strong enough to hold up to my occasional botchesd shifts! A great product!
