This 2nd/3rd hub (1st/2nd in 4-speed gearboxes) is installed on the pinion shaft of Hewland or Webster Mk4 or Mk6 gearboxes. Replaces Hewland part number HC227. The very fine inner splines (15 spline count) distinguish this hub from the 2nd/3rd Hub for Mk 8, 9 Gearboxes (part #1410-A48-9), which has much coarser inner splines.
