If your HANS anchor posts don't have the spring they should, or if your anchors were over-tightened when they were installed, you may need to replace the wave spring inside. The wave spring keeps the catch tab in place on the anchor post, preventing accidental release. Sold individually, each anchor post takes one spring. New anchors include this spring.
