This super-short-throw shifter from Ford Racing features positive stops to prevent shift fork damage due to over-travel. The one-piece aluminum base holds everything rock-steady. The chrome stick and white shift knob both have Hurst logos and a tough, old-school look.
Fits the T-5 and T-45 transmissions installed in many 1979-2004 Ford Mustangs:
1979-95 V-8 Mustangs with T-5 transmission
1994-2004 V-6 Mustangs with T-5 transmission
1996-2001 V-8 Mustangs with T-45 transmission
Does not fit Tremec 3650 transmission* or 2001 and newer Cobra, Bullitt, or GT Mustangs.
* Tremec 3650 can be identified by the drain plug in the bottom of the case. The T-45 has the drain plug in the passenger side of the case.
