1 inch Aluminum Hose Plug with 5/8-18 Female Port

This special plug makes it easy to add a mechanical temperature gauge to your cooling system. The 1 inch OD fits into the branch of any of our Silicone Coolant Hose Tees (sold separately). The female 5/8-18 threads accept the temperature sensing bulb from an Auto Meter or Stewart-Warner mechanical gauge.* Black anodized aluminum for long life.

* Some gauge brands require the use of a copper sealing washer where the bulb meets the adapter. A washer is included with this adapter.
