Simpson Helmet Restraint Strap

This Helmet Restraint Strap is designed to reduce the strain on the neck and shoulder muscles in circle track racing. Mounts on the left side of the helmet to counteract centrifugal cornering forces. Strap has a loop to go around the left shoulder and a clip to attach to a D-ring on the side of the helmet. Some helmets already have this D-ring installed at the factory, but the Restraint Strap includes an extra.

Note: This is not designed or intended for use as a "head and neck restraint" device. It will not reduce the potential for neck or skull injuries in an impact.
