Arm & Helmet Restraint Straps

Many North American racing organizations (including SCCA) require arm restraints for drivers of open cars.

Separate Strap Style are for road racing. They are designed with more freedom of movement to allow the driver to communicate via hand signals. Use these for all SCCA classes.
Sprint Car Style are for open-wheel circle track racing (sprint cars, midgets, etc) where there is a greater likelihood that the car will flip. This style is much more restrictive and will not allow hand signals. They are not recommended for any road racing class.
