Simpson Racing Safety Equipment
Simpson was founded shortly after Bill Simpson was injured in a racing crash in 1958. Their first product was the very first parachute ever used in drag racing. A history of innovative safety equipment followed, from the first Nomex® fire suit, to aerodynamically advanced helmets worn by the majority of drivers at the Indy 500.
