AP Radi-CAL R4 is a high-performance brake fluid formulated specifically for professional racing. The extremely high boiling point is suitable for the most demanding braking applications such as carbon/carbon brakes or NASCAR short tracks. Exceeds DOT 4 specifications but is compatible with all DOT 3 and DOT 4 fluids.
To keep the fluid fresh, AP brake fluids are furnished in 1/2 liter (16.9 oz), easy pour plastic bottles with double sealed caps. Bottles should always be tightly resealed to keep moisture out.

* None of our brake fluids are compatible with silicone-based (DOT 5) fluids.
For maximum performance, the system should be drained and thoroughly purged with fresh R4 fluid. Any old fluid remaining in the system will act as a weak link, lowering the effective boiling point to match the old fluid.
