The HANS IV continues the legendary head-and-neck restraint company's commitment to constant product improvement.

The latest SFI-approved HANS Device to feature injection-molded technology, the HANS IV is even lighter than the HANS III. The distinctive open backboard (carried over from HANS Devices used in F1 and Indy Car) removes unnecessary material to bring the weight down even closer to the more expensive carbon-fiber Pro models.

Other improvements include revised padding which nests into the device horns to reduce slippage and a higher cutaway in the rear to avoid contact with the driver's neck. The HANS IV is SFI 38.1 approved and SCCA legal.

Each HANS IV Device includes Vision Advantage PLUS sliding tethers, black contour padding, Quick-Click quick-disconnect helmet anchors for one helmet, and full instructions. The Model 20 works for the majority of drivers in most cars (not for extreme lay-back seats).
