The GT6 Pro incorporates technologies from the Bell HP7 helmet used extensively in Formula 1 and developed with input from Formula 1 drivers. Intended for use in closed-cockpit cars, the fiberglass-reinforced carbon composite shell of the GT6 Pro has a much wider eyeport and larger chin bar than the HP7. Two pair of inlet vents in the chin and four outlet slots in the crown allow cooling air to circulate.

The GT6 Pro includes HANS® post anchors factory-installed. Available in gloss White (WHT) or Matte Black (MBK). Includes one clear DSAF (dual-pane, anti-fog) shield with a color-keyed visor strip, a hex wrench for the shield hardware, and a drawstring helmet bag. Snell SA2025 approved.

SA2025 is the latest Snell Foundation rating for automotive racing helmets. This helmet rating has been developed to provide the best safety protection for auto racing drivers who are restrained in their vehicles. SA2025 helmets are tested for flame retardance, and additional tests ensure that the factory-installed M6 threaded inserts can handle loads from an FHR. An SA-rated helmet may not meet DOT specifications for street use, such as on motorcycles.

SIZING: Helmets should fit as snug as possible without causing discomfort. Measure head circumference around the largest part of the head approximately one inch above the eyebrows and just above the ears. If a one or two layer Nomex hood will be worn with the helmet, it should be worn when measuring head circumference. If a hood is not available, add about 1/4 inch to the circumference measurement for a single layer hood and 1/2 inch for a double layer hood.
