The Aurora KW Series 3-piece female-threaded rod end bearings feature a carbon steel body with a heat-treated alloy steel ball and racel. The body and race are both protective coated for corrosion resistance. The ball is hard chrome plated. This series has been engineered for long life in general purpose applications.
The Z indicates a Zerk-type grease fitting in the body for easy lubrication with a grease gun. Note that this tends to weaken the rod end body and may result in a lower radial strength rating than listed in the Aurora catalog. Aurora KW-Z (right-hand thread) and KG-Z (left-hand thread). Sold individually.
