These spherical bearings feature 3-piece construction with an oversized OD. The carbon-steel outer member and race both have a corrosion-resistant coating, and the alloy steel ball is heat treated and hard chrome plated for long life. These bearings do not have a PTFE liner, so they must be lubricated periodically to prevent galling and premature wear. A groove around the OD of the outer member and holes in the outer member and race are provided to carry lubricant to the bearing surface. Sold individually.
