These anodized aluminum fittings are designed to connect your rubber hose to a standard female NPT (National Pipe Taper) threaded port. The single barb is very low-profile, so these fittings are recommended for low-pressure applications (below 50 psi) only. A hose clamp (sold separately) is required. The NPT portion does not swivel. You must "clock" the fitting during installation (tighten 1.5 turns past finger-tight, then continue turning to the desired position). Sold individually.
Note: NPT nomenclature can be confusing because the nominal size refers to the inside diameter of the pipe, not the outside diameter of the threads. If you are not sure what size you need, please check out our Guide to Using NPT Fittings.
