The GP Pro Comp v2 from Alpinestars is an upper-level driver's suit with all of the professional features developed for F1 racing at an affordable price. The flame-retardant aramid fabrics used in each of the 3 layers are specifically chosen and constructed to provide superior protection with comfort. Knit panels around the arms and in the small of the back provide freedom of movement and ventilation. The "boot cut" cuff (preferred in NASCAR) hides the knit ankle cuff inside a conventional-looking pant leg. Special printed silicone strips on the shoulders and the lower back prevent shifting around in the seat and slippage of your HANS Device. A flap closure on the left side of the torso hides a slot for your cool shirt tubing.

The matte (non-shiny) outer layer is available in four color combinations:
Asphalt/Red is dark grey with red and white highlights.
Black/Asphalt is black with dark gray and white highlights.
Black/Orange is black with orange and dark grey highlights.
Silver Blue is very light gray (almost white) with dark grey and greyish-blue highlights.

All colors have black knit inserts and cuffs, with contrasting Alpinestars logos.

Certified to the tough new SFI 3.4/5 "Advanced Drivers Suit" specification. European sizing; see chart below.
