The Alpinestars GP Tech driver's suit was designed with F1, WEC, and NASCAR drivers to eliminate all compromises. The matte (not shiny) Nomex® outer layer is backed up by a flame-retardant aramid knit lining to protect without bulk. Knit panels at the knees, around the elbows, down the spine, and across the small of the back provide freedom of movement and ventilation. Even detail areas like the knit wrist and ankle cuffs have been lightened to minimize weight and bulk.
The matte-finish outer layer is available in these modern color combinations:
Black is black with white epaulets.
Black/White has black legs and shoulders, white torso, and orange epaulets.
Navy is dark blue with orange epaulates.
Silver is light grey with black shoulders and royal blue epaulets.
White is white with red epaulets.
All colors have black knit wrist and ankle cuffs and black knit stretch panels. Navy and Silver have white inserts on the sides of the torso; on Black/White and White these inserts are black.
