The heavy-duty 40 series Camlocs are rated for 700 pounds working strength (1050 pounds ultimate strength). They are designed to be used with a metal grommet (sold separately) to help spread the attachment forces. The large diameter grommet (#6082) is recommended for soft materials such as fiberglass.
The wing head on these studs allows quick fastening with just your fingers -- no tools needed. The Dash Number corresponds to the number stamped on the head. Overall stud length (less wings) in inches is 0.62 + (0.03 x Dash Number). Sold individually.

Total Grip is the total thickness of the panels to be fastened (do not include the receptacle). When using the 40 Series Side Mount Receptacle (Part No. 6087), measure from the front of the removeable panel to the top of the receptacle and subtract 0.06". When using the 40 Series Floating Receptacle (Part No. CAM244-16), use the next longer stud. Add 0.026" to the grip length when using the Standard Grommet, or add 0.050" to the grip length when using the Large Diameter Grommet.
