Silicone Rubber Air Duct Hose is popular for brake cooling ducts due to its high temperature capability (maximum 500° F continuous / 600° F intermittent). The 2-ply construction withstands higher pressure and vacuum than our Single-Ply Silicone Air Duct Hose (Part No. 3621), so it is popular as engine intake plumbing on normally-aspirated applications. This hose is flexible and pliable, but a bronze coated spring-steel wire support helix prevents it from collapsing. The fiberglass fabric cover and fiberglass cord are both impregnated and coated with silicone rubber. Lengths can be screwed together to form a continuous length if you've got leftovers around. Red-orange only.
