ITG air filters use a three-stage foam for excellent airflow with great filtration. The ITG "Megaflow" line of racing air filters have distinctive red plastic bands around the top and bottom of the filter element. The matching baseplate is sold separately Filter elements sold individually.
The JC55 series is designed to fit installations with 2 large dual-throat carburetors or up to 4 throttle bodies (a Ford V8 running quad Weber IDA carbs or Inglese fuel injection stacks would run two filters). The element measures 5.8" wide x 19.7" long. Another unique identifier of the JC55 series is the two closely-spaced fasteners along one long side (all others have two widely-spaced fasteners on the long side, or else just one). The nominal height in the part number refers to the internal height in millimeters. Choose a size that leaves a gap between the filter and air horns of at least 19mm (3/4") for street or 32mm (1 1/4") for race applications.

Note: ITG filters are supplied dry and must be oiled prior to use. ITG recommends the use of Rock Oil Eco Foam Air Filter Oil (Part No. 3818-001, sold separately). Extensive testing of Rock Oil against other foam filter oils has shown that ITG filters treated with Rock Oil actually outlasted filters treated with other oils (including brands previously recommended by ITG)!
