Fire-resistant undergarments provide a dramatic increase in protection when worn with a driver's suit. Flame resistant underwear and socks are required by many race sanctioning bodies.
The super-light OMP Tecnica long sleeve top is made of a very smooth single layer soft knit blend of flame-retardant aramid fibers. This is not the rough "waffle weave" fabric. You really don't need to wear an undershirt under this top! Special extra-breathable fabric are strategically placed to allow perspiration to evaporate without sacrificing protection. External flat seams add to comfort. Top features long sleeves and a mock turtleneck. FIA 8856-2000 homologated.
Note: These tops have a slim, athletic cut with increased elasticity to avoid bunching and bagginess. They are designed to fit a little tight.
