The Sabelt Universe TB-8 is a professional-level mid-cut racing boot with a smooth leather exterior and a fire-retardant lining. Sabelt took what might be considered an unusual approach when designing the TB-8: They actually set out to create a race driving shoe that would last throughout a driver's career!

The tongue and upper are made of strong calf leather for long life. The sides are perforated both for ventilation and to make the leather softer and more flexible. A single reinforcing patch on the outside toe extends the useful life even further without adding excess weight. The hook-and-loop security strap is positioned low across the top of the foot (not around the calf and shin), so it works with the geometry of your ankle. The back is also cut lower, with a soft insert over the Achilles area to provide even better flexibility.

The ultra-thin rubber sole has a very minimalist tread for outstanding pedal feel. The flame-retardant lining is knit in a Sabelt-developed 3D honeycomb texture to enhance breathability. The single black-on-yellow Sabelt logo is printed for light weight and fire resistance. An even more subtle Sabelt logo is embossed on the toe reinforcement.

Available in Black, Red, or White. Each color has a black lining, laces, and sole. European sizes 36 through 48. FIA 8856-2018 homologated for auto racing.
