This cable is also known as the "RPM, Gear Flash, and K Line Cable for EVO4." It has 5 wires to allow connection to an ECU or ignition coil for an RPM signal. The 5-pin "712" (screw-in) connector attaches to the RPM input port on the AiM EVO4. This cable is normally included with the EVO4 unit.
White (Pin 1): "RPM 150 - 450V" for RPM signal from the ignition coil
Black (Pin 2): "GND" for connection to chassis ground ( - )
Blue (Pin 3): "RPM 4 - 50V" for square-wave RPM signal from an ECU or ignition box
Yellow (Pin 4): "K LINE" for communication with an ECU via K/L Line
Grey (Pin 5): "DIGIT OUT" for digital output function
Note: For use with EVO4 only. This harness is not designed to work with any other AiM unit.
