This direct-acting throwout bearing eliminates all lost motion due to cable stretch or linkage flex. The four-leg design has a 3" x 4 5/8" rectangular pattern to fit the Tilton 52- and 53-Series steel bellhousings. With some modification, you may be able to adapt it to different applications.
The radius-faced bearing has a 44mm contact diameter for clutches with a 1 5/8" diameter diaphragm spring hole. This includes all Quarter Master racing clutches (except 7.25" LGC) and Tilton OT-II (7.25") Racing Clutches.
This version is designed for an overall height of 2.92" (74.2mm), but removing a shim under the bearing will reduce the height to 2.87" (72.9mm). Maximum travel is 0.70 inches, so a clutch pedal stop must be used to prevent damage to the clutch and the engine. Tilton recommends pairing this assembly with a 3/4" bore master cylinder (sold separately). Includes 3AN male adapters for inlet and outlet.
