The 4000-Series hydraulic release bearings from Tilton have a 4-leg mount that bolts directly to Tilton 52/53-Series bellhousings. Their compact design can be adapter to other bellhousings. Interchangeable pistons and bearings allows use with nearly any racing clutch.

Always use a clutch pedal stop with an HRB! Overtravel of the pedal causes a huge spike in line pressure. This can be strong enough to destroy clutch fingers. Even worse, it can push the crankshaft forward and grind up the thrust bearings. This can quickly lead to a loss of oil pressure and a loss of an engine.

Bearing sizes:
38mm is for Tilton OT-III (5.5") and OT-IV (4.5") racing clutches, as well as some AP carbon-carbon clutches.
44mm is for Tilton OT-II (7.25") and most Quartermaster 4.5", 5.5", and 7.25" racing clutches.
52mm is for Tilton 8.5" and most AP 4.5", 5.5", and 7.25" racing clutches.

Using a larger-diameter bearing than recommended will increase pedal effort.
